Bulk actions
Change status, move, tag or delete many items at once from any list.
Lists of assets, flexible assets, passwords, documents and contacts let you change many items at once.
- Tick the box next to each item, or tick the box in the header to select every item on the page.
- A bar appears at the bottom of the screen showing how many are selected.
- Choose an action:

| Move to… | Moves the items to another organization |
| Add tag | Adds a tag to every selected item |
| Delete | Permanently deletes the items (you'll be asked to confirm) |
Choose Clear to unselect everything.
What gets skipped
Knowpoint checks every item individually, and tells you which ones it skipped and why:
- items you only have view access to,
- actions your role doesn't allow,
- flexible assets whose type isn't available in the destination organization,
- global Knowledge Base articles (they can't be moved into an organization).
Moving items between organizations
When you move an item, links that only make sense in the old organization are removed: tags that belong only to the old organization, related items there, and the item's location and contact. Everything else, including fields, notes and history, moves with it.
Warning: Deleting can't be undone. If you're tidying up old equipment, consider setting the status to Retired instead.
