Customizing your dashboard

Choose the widgets on your dashboard, arrange and resize them, and set what each one shows.

Your dashboard is made of widgets. Everyone starts with the same standard set. You can change yours to show what matters to you, and only you see your layout. Your colleagues' dashboards don't change.

Change your dashboard

  1. On the dashboard, select βš™ Customize.
  2. Each widget gets a toolbar:
    • ↑ ↓ move it up or down. You can also drag a widget to a new place.
    • ↔ changes its width: a third, two thirds, or the full width of the page.
    • βš™ opens its settings, such as how many items to show.
    • βœ• removes it.
  3. + Add widget adds another one. You can add the same widget more than once, for example two Flexible assets widgets for different types.
  4. Select Done. Your changes are saved as you make them.

Reset to default brings back the standard layout and removes your own widgets and their settings.

Good to know

  • Widgets follow your access. They never show an organization, item or password count that you couldn't see elsewhere in Knowpoint. If your access changes, your widgets change with it.
  • A dashboard can have up to 24 widgets.
  • On a phone, widgets are shown one under another, in the same order.
  • My note is private to you, but it isn't encrypted like passwords. Don't keep secrets in it; store them as passwords.
